Rules

Replace {{tool-slug}} with the exact LawyerAI item slug.
Do not use the Reviewed badge until the LawyerAI page shows a real editorial score.
Do not use the Featured badge to imply editorial recommendation.
Paid Featured status must be disclosed as commercial placement and does not change review scores.
Do not alter badge wording in a way that changes the relationship.
Link to the relevant item page, not the homepage, unless LawyerAI approves a different target.

Use Terms

LawyerAI may ask a vendor to remove or correct a badge if the listing status changes.
Badge usage does not create an endorsement, partnership, affiliate relationship, or guarantee of ranking.
Outbound vendor links from LawyerAI use nofollow or sponsored treatment where appropriate. Badge backlinks should not be required for editorial treatment.
Backlink indexing should be tracked in the badge outreach roster and backlink resource library.

Tracking

Badge outreach starts from the local roster in scripts/data/badge-outreach-targets.csv. Record vendor touch, badge URL, indexed date, and whether the page should remain an active badge backlink candidate.

Editorial Independence

Badges are link assets, not review guarantees. Featured placement is commercial and separate from the review score. Read the Review Methodology, Editorial Independence, and Disclosure pages before using a badge.
